It's a knife! It's a spear! It's a telescope! Well, not really on that last one. In all honesty, I was really impressed with this knife and a bit taken back. This is my first Cold Steel that I have ever owned and I was kind of expecting the knife to be a little gimmicky. It was solid. Solid enough that I can honestly say I prefer it to my ESEE 5. There, I said it. The ESEE 5 is not worth the extra $130 compared to this thing. Buy one. They're cheap as chips.
